Projects
Greetings! Right now, here's what we have available:
- Scarecrow, of course, is our innovative monitoring/backup/restore app. (Ha! First released in 2012. Innovative. Heh.) Highly transparent backups, Multi-location content-aware monitoring of websites via HTTP, with DNS and certificate monitoring thrown in. FTP monitoring of files for changes, backups you can see or download for yourself, and restores via a few clicks. To any point in time. Well, any point in the past. You knew that part, right? Also, any point after we started monitoring. Ahem. Also database backups/restores, self-configuring for most WordPress sites. Check out our FAQ to get an idea of how it works, or head over to the Pricing page for a pretty complete desciription.
- The free privacy book is hosted over at BookFunnel; they seem to be pretty good at that. Anyway, published in 2016; some technical details have changed but the overall content is still highly relevant--the idea was to teach people how to think about onling security and privacy in an effective way. At any rate, it offers a framework that may be helpful. No email collection or anything of that nature--just head over and download it, or view in your browser, or whatever.
- redacTor is, frankly, vaporware right now. Active development in progress; we should have something soon. It's part of a mult-project effort, all because...you know...shouldn't privacy on the internet be easy? Maybe even the default? Seems like there might be a way.. Stay tuned.
- DNS Watch: this is actually part of Scarecrow, but was recently added. We like to think of it as looking up the internet's underpants. Showing multi-continent multi-provider DNS failure data; basically demonstrating infrastructure issues and information we have seen documented literally nowhere else.
- YOUR PROJECT HERE. Seriously, we're open to ideas. Always.
